DA BLOODY MOBOZ.

The MOBO’s happen ever year, and every year I watch and enjoy but never really know who any one is. But this year. THIS YEAR I DO.

It’s the same thing that happened at Reading Festival this year, I knew who they were.

And by ‘they’ I mean, all them Grime artists. Since stepping foot in Reprezent Radio, I have gained so much appreciation (and I like to think street cred.) Being about to recognise artist and music that I wouldn’t usually listen to is the best feeling and this year at the MOBOs I did just that.

It’s fair to say my Rep family have trained me well.

The MOBO’s will go down tomorrow night and since we don’t have any winners I am going to pick who I want to win from the nominees for this weeks #SIBLEYS6

BLOC R BK.

I don’t know about you but I have been waiting for this very moment for so long I had lost hope of it happening.

But mate it has, Bloc Party are back and they have a new album out in January!

I never did get to see them live, I think I was just that little bit too young and I am forever jealous of anyone who has had the pleasure.

SIBLEYS6 this week is no other than 6 of the best Bloc Party songs of course!

Here we go.

1. BLOC PARTY – HUNTING FOR WITCHES

2. BLOC PARTY – BANQUET (THE STREETS MIX)

3. BLOC PARTY – SIGNS (ARMAND VAN HELDEN REMIX)

4. BLOC PARTY – I STILL REMEMBER

5. BLOC PARTY – FLUXX

6. BLOC PARTY – THE PRAYER (HADOUKEN! REMIX)

FNX KELE 4 JOINING DA BAND AGEN XOXOXOXO

BODY SHAMING. NO FNX.

So recently there has been a lot of body shaming and this is not okay, Little Mix spoke out about how they have to deal with shaming of their appearance every single day, NOT OKAY and so have loads of other celebs.

So I thought this weeks #SIBLEYS6 should be dedicated to promoting a positive body image so I have picked 6 songs to make you feel body fabulous!

1.DESTINY’S CHILD – BOOTYLICIOUS

2. TLC – UNPRETTY

3. LAURYN HILL – DOO-WOOP (THAT THING)

4. MARY J BLIGE – WORK THAT

5. SHANIA TWAIN – THAT DON’T IMPRESS ME MUCH

6. LILY ALLEN – HARD OUT HERE

Can’t even // It’s so sodding good.

I am absolutely obsessed with Calum Scott from Britian’s Got Talent, I was so gutted when he messed up on the live finals.

Mate his semi final performance, when he covered ‘We Don’t Have To Take Our Clothes Off’ took me right back to 2007 when Gym Class Heroes released ‘Clothes Off.’ But it was 100 times better.

I resent that Calum’s rendition is only 1 minutes 57 seconds long, it’s just not long enough.

Can’t even. It’s so sodding good.

Fit as well ent he.

I have recently discovered that I fancy Matty Healy, a lot.

Saw The 1975 live at the iTunes Festival and at the time was not into it but now. NOW I am listening to Head.Cars.Bending on full volume in me room, attempting to sing a long in tune and swigging red wine from the bottle. NOW they are just beautiful sexy men.

My lyf on Sunday but less sexy.

#ZAYNPAIN

Where is Zayn?

where-is-zayn-460x254

He’s gone. L8erz. Left the band. Over. Bye

Zayn has left One Direction and the world has got #ZAYNPAIN. The internet has gone into a meltdown, adjusting to lyf without Zayn. People are acting like the boys dead.

Lyf after Zayn.

Nothing’s ever gonna be the same.

I heard on the radio whilst I was going to some place, that folk were calling in sick because they were mourning the departure of the guy, I wonder if they were straight up like “mate, i can’t come in today i’ve got #ZAYNPAIN” or if they went for the classic “i’ve got the shits.”

Either way, it’s one of the best things to hit the music universe in a whole lotta time. It seems to be 10 times worse than when Kevin left the Backstreet Boyz.

Lets just clear up the fact that One Direction are still together, the entire preteen population will probably take the day as a public holiday when the lads finally part. It’s going to happen.

I give it a couple years.
